What is your diamond birthday?
You are probably eager to know when is my diamond birthday.
Your ‘diamond birthday’ happens when you turn the same age as the last two digits of your birth year.
So if your were born on 1st April 2010(No fooling!), your diamond birtday is when you turn 10 years old, that is on April 1st, 2020 (2010+10).
Let me give few more examples.
If you were born in 1999, your diamond birthday would be when you turn 99, —just in time to celebrate with a fancy party and a dozen great-grandchildren!
If you were born in 2001, you have hit your diamond birthday at just 1 year old—meaning the celebration was mostly you drooling, throwing tantrums, and probably falling asleep before the guests even arrived.
And if you are born in 2022, you are just in time. Celebrate your diamond birthday while you still have the energy to dance!
Golden and Diamond Birthday
A golden birthday occurs when the age of a person matches the day he was born.
So for some Mr. James born on 5th December 1990, his golden birthday occurs when he turns 5, that is on 5th December 1995 (1990+5) -a time when he is more interested in cakes than milestones.
In contrast, a diamond birthday occurs when the age of a person matches the last two digits of year he was born.
So the same Mr James celebrates his diamond birthday when he turns 90.
As he was born in the year 1990, he shall turn 90 on 5th December 2080 (1990 + 90) – an age when he has gained plenty of wisdom (and wrinkles).
